Workshop Technician
Simon is a Workshop Technician at Aerotest and provides vital support to the manufacturing and maintenance team. Simon started his working career in a hands-on environment in various casual jobs before starting work as a labourer in a fertiliser manufacturing plant bagging fertiliser and operating a weighbridge.
Simons hard work ethic got him a position in the aviation industry, cutting and installing carpet kits and he also repaired First Class, Business Class and Economy seats.
Working in the aviation industry under the strict safety and quality systems, Simon joined Plane Support and moved his family from Victoria to Queensland. Simon uses his aviation acquired skills to run the stores in the Theme Park side of the business, programme and manage the CNC machine in the workshop and supports the strip and rebuild of Amusement Park Devices.
