Richard Glassock

Design Engineer

Richard is a Mechanical and Aerospace Engineer with experience spanning a broad cross-section of industry, academia and research.  Having a keen interest in aviation led to university research and development of several areas of aerospace technology, focussing on drone operations and hybrid electric propulsion.

Returning in 2022 from 8 years working in Europe as a design engineer and researcher, Richard engaged in several aerospace R&D technology projects before joining Plane Support in December 2023. Plane Support offers the opportunity to apply research and design skills in detail within the aviation regulatory structure, and the privilege of seeing results enter service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master of Engineering (Research)
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours)
  • Diploma of Engineering. Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing vocational training (TAFE).
