About Us
Plane Support, the business name of Aerotest Pty Ltd is an aircraft maintenance facility specialising in Embraer Bandeirante, Fairchild Metro, Twin Otter and light aircraft repairs plus component repair and overhaul. It is located at the Sunshine Coast Airport, near Brisbane, Australia.
Established in 1997 and wholly owned by working Directors Ian Swain and Bill Fuller, the company’s goal is to provide quality product at a competitive price within a reasonable timeframe. Around 4,000 line items of useful spares are held including many hard to find General Aviation and Regional Airline rotable parts available on an overhauled exchange or outright sale basis.
Aviation work is performed under CASA Certificate of Approval C552769 and compressed gas cylinder testing is done under Standards Australia Certificate of Conformity #466 (AS2337.1). All parts are supplied with appropriate documentation for traceability and conformance whilst repaired/overhauled components are issued with an Authorised Release Certificate (Australian Form 917 equivalent to FAA8130).
